Workshops

Since its founding in 1947, the Jewish Historical Institute has been conducting research on the subject of the history of Polish Jews, with a particular focus on the history of the Holocaust. We offer a variety of educational workshops for domestic and international students:

  1. The history of the Warsaw Ghetto in Oneg Shabbat’s documents,
  2. What they were unable to shout out to the world – the story and significance of the Underground Archive of the Warsaw Ghetto, with focus on biographies of the Oneg Shabbat group members,
  3. An archive more important than life.

Walks

The Emanuel Ringelblum Jewish Historical Institute offers following educational walks for domestic and international students:

  1. The unremovable traces of the Warsaw Ghetto,
  2. An impression about the Northern District,
  3. Warsaw seen through Janusz Korczak’s eyes,
  4. Following the traces of Irena Sendler,
  5. Discovering Jewish Praga,
  6. The Jewish cemetery at Okopowa street,
  7. Historians, a writer and a postman – members of the secret Oneg Shabbat group in the space of the Warsaw Ghetto.
